WorkerBees will help you refresh your used beeswax wraps and bags that have lost their shape and stickiness. One pack of WorkerBees is sufficient to restore three XL wraps or six M-sized wraps, depending on the condition of the wraps. We recommend starting with two or three bees, and if you find it insufficient, add more as needed.

Instructions:

You can repair your beeswax wraps and bags using an iron or an oven.

Iron Method:

Prepare an ironing board and cover it with an old towel or fabric (for safety). Place a parchment paper on the ironing board and place your BajaBee wrap or bag on it. Arrange the WorkerBees on top of the BajaBee wrap or bag and cover with another parchment paper. Set the iron to medium or high heat and turn off the steam function. Place the iron on the parchment paper and observe as the WorkerBees melt. Iron evenly to spread the wax to the edges of the fabric. Hold the beeswax wrap by the corners and peel it off the parchment paper. If you are repairing a bag, separate the bag walls and let it solidify for 10 seconds. Be careful not to reseal the bag walls together. If this happens, re-iron the bag through the parchment paper and repeat the process.

Oven Method:

Preheat the oven to approximately 80 °C (176 °F). Place a parchment paper on a baking sheet, then place your BajaBee wrap or bag on the paper and evenly distribute the WorkerBees on it. Place the sheet in the oven and let the wax fully absorb into the fabric. Carefully remove it as in the ironing method and let it cool for 10 seconds.
