How to Properly Dispose of BajaBee Packaging β Step by Step
Every package has an end β but if handled correctly, it can also have a new beginning. π
At BajaBee, we make sure that all our packaging is sustainable, compostable, or recyclable, so you can easily sort it at home.
Hereβs a short and practical mini-guide to show you what belongs in the compost and what goes into paper recycling.
β»οΈ 1. Cardboard packaging β goes into paper recycling
Our laundry sheets and beeswax products (wraps and bags) are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes.
β‘οΈ After use:
-
flatten the box,
-
remove any wax residue or labels,
-
and place it in the blue paper recycling bin.
π’ Tip: If the box is damaged or stained with grease or wax, you can put it in the compost β it will naturally decompose.
πΏ 2. Compostable labels
The labels on all our products are compostable, meaning they fully decompose in home or industrial compost.
β‘οΈ Simply peel them off and toss them into the compost β together with your organic waste.
πͺΆ 3. Aluminum bottles of laundry perfumes
Our laundry perfumes are packed in infinitely recyclable aluminum β a material that can be reprocessed again and again without losing quality.
β‘οΈ Once the bottle is empty:
-
leave it completely empty,
-
no need to rinse it,
-
and place it in the yellow metal recycling bin or take it to a recycling center.
π‘ Did you know? Recycling a single aluminum bottle saves enough energy to power a laptop for more than 2 hours!
πΈ 4. Packing material β plastic-free paper
Every order is protected with plastic-free paper filler.
β‘οΈ You can reuse it (for example, to wrap gifts),
or place it in the compost or blue paper recycling bin.
π Conclusion: A small step for you, a big step for the planet
At BajaBee, we believe that sustainability lies in simplicity.
Taking a moment to decide what goes into compost and what goes into recycling makes a huge difference β less waste, more life for the planet.
π Thank you for sorting with us β every package has purpose when disposed of properly.
